Breadfruit, instead of rice, potato, pasta.
Used as baby cereal food.
You can roast, boil, fry, baked or grill it.
Similar to potato or fresh baked bread, has a chestnut flavor and texture,
Can be pickled or marinated.
Ripe breadfruit are creamy, sweet and used for making pies, cakes and candies.
Gluten free
I made a big pot of Sancocho (Short rib stew with vegetables) using breadfruit as a base for my stock.
